The R. Barbara Gitenstein Library is a partner site for Yale University’s Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies, which records, collects, and preserves Holocaust witness testimonies. The Fortunoff Archive holds more than 4,400 testimonies, which are comprised of over 12,000 recorded hours of videotape.
Access
Unlike other databases at TCNJ, Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies requires self-registration. You do not need to be affiliated with TCNJ to use the database but non-TCNJ users must be within the Gitenstein Library to get access. Please see the Streaming Video LibGuide for instructions.
Off-campus access is available only for authorized (Faculty, Administrative Staff, Registered Student) TCNJ users only. You will first need to login with your TCNJ username and password, then with the username and password registered with the Fortunoff Archive.
