Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts (ASSIA) is a multidisciplinary bibliographic database that covers health, social services, psychology, sociology, economics, politics, race relations and education. ASSIA currently abstracts over 500 journals published in 16 different countries, including the UK and US. This database is particularly useful for research at the intersections between social science and health information.

Cabell’s Directory of Publishing Opportunities
Cabell’s directories cover the fields of Business, Education, and Psychology. They provide information on nearly 2000 journals in business (accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics), more than 700 journals in education (curriculum, administration, educational psychology), and 400 journals in psychology. Entries include name of the journal, address, contact information, circulation figures, subject areas of the journal, guidelines for submitting manuscripts, reviewing process, and acceptance rates, when available. The index in each directory is by subject emphasis of the journal and by type of reviewing process.

A database that describes questionnaires, rating scales, projective techniques, and other types of instruments used in the health, psychosocial sciences, organizational behavior, and library science fields. The information is drawn from journal articles and compendiums, with each entry including the source of the test information, abstract, number of items, etc. No actual tests are included.
